Excalibur Investment Banking Facilitates Merger between Sanderson Bellecci and Coleman Engineering

Excalibur Investment Banking is pleased to announce that Sanderson Bellecci and Coleman Engineering have merged together, helping to create a leading multi-discipline civil infrastructure and community planning firm serving clients across the western United States.

Located in Roseville, California, the 30 person Coleman Engineering is a leading engineering firm operating in the water and wastewater markets. Lead by founder Chad Coleman, formerly of Kimley-Horn and Associates, Coleman Engineering primarily serves both public infrastructure and private development clients. The merger compliments Sanderson Bellecci’s existing practice by adding water and wastewater design capabilities and further strengthening the firm’s presence in the western United States.

Both Sanderson Bellecci and Coleman Engineering anticipate significant synergies resulting from the merger including benefits for team members and value for clients as the companies continue to grow and prosper together. The firms will continue to operate under their current brand names, managed by the current local owner/principals while functioning as a single enterprise under the leadership of CEO Michael Sanderson. Chad Coleman will continue as Managing Principal, and as a material shareholder and Director of Sanderson Bellecci.

Excalibur Investment Banking was engaged by Sanderson Bellecci to source and initiate the transaction. “Sanderson Bellecci is one of the fastest growing civil engineering firms in the industry. The values and expertise of the Company’s leadership have created a culture and organization where shareholders from various firms can join forces and grow faster together.
